The Senior level Inter-School Debate started today at SMSA. Teachers from PJN who are adjudicating at the debate are Andrew Dowling, Alan Fletcher, Marian T and Wong Yean. Today, four students from MA 4SC4 were brought along by Wong Yean to watch and experience the debate.
A few debate teams were competing in different classrooms at the same time but our students opted to watch the debate between SMSA and Maktab Sains on the motion "THB that debating brings out the worse in us".
The debate was very close with Maktab Sains (Opposition team) emerging as winner. Other schools' results are not known yet and have to be checked.
